Unlike most SUP events, the Head of the Dart follows the route of the river and finishes around eight miles away from the start line. This can present logistical issues, particularly for anyone without a non-paddling partner who can take their vehicle to the finish.
From several years experience running the event we have learnt that there are enough spare places in cars/vans for paddlers to share and help each other out.
This year we will compile a list of those requiring a lift and those happy to help with others. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements, with the subject title either Lift Request or Lift Offered.
Our team will be in touch in the lead-up to the event and pair you up with someone to share the lift with, plus details of rendezvous points.
Ultimately we cannot be responsible or guarantee lifts but will do our utmost to assist paddlers wherever possible.
